John Mayer Has a Blog

Late to the game, I know, but those of you who experience the extreme what of “John Mayer Has a TV Show” will appreciate that the humor lives on (apparently) in his blog. Be sure to read the Oct. 10 entry “I’m thinking about tanning professionally” because it’s true comedy gold. A laugh riot. And I’m not just saying that.

I've been thinking of ways to define my years of love and appriciation for that person, and I just can't find ones. the words had not been invented yet:) so yes, everything written above is true about him. no doubt he is all those things: funny- simple- modest-extrimely intelligent- creative guy. his blog definitely reflects how real he is...and that what touches the most about him- that he just keeps on being him........John... I hope you realize, that everything you've ever hoped you would be, you are.

I have just discovered this as well. I love his "Tanning" parable.
It is hard to believe he is just 29. he is such an old soul. Thats fabulous.

John is a super intelligent guy. I find him to be the most refreshing person around.
I'm so glad he blogs. I think it's a great way of showing us his inner complexities.
Besides, he's just funny. Sometimes the funny can be easily grasped, other times you need to think a little harder.

I hope he keeps it up. It's my weekly entertainment.

  • The good thing about John Mayer's writing is that he can turn the most nonsensical thoughts into a very intellectual story. And there is nothing funnier than that. He has some very good styles too; his analogies are almost, if not seamlessly, perfect. I sometimes wonder how he comes up with them. A negative though, is that some, if not most, of his fans never gets his humor and sometimes gets confused. But I'm sure when they read and reread a few times they get it.

The man is a literary comic genius.
